Scottie Resources provides grab sampling and geophysical survey results from the Domino zone at its Scottie project.

Scottie Resources Corp. (SCOT:TSX.V) announced in a news release that results of surficial grab samples from the Domino zone at its Scottie project in British Columbia's Golden Triangle increased the strike length of the mineralized zone to 900 meters and the width to 450 meters.

Originally, Domino was thought to be 700 meters x 200 meters. The zone is 2 kilometers west of the past-producing Scottie Mine, on strike.

"Our detailed mapping and sampling this year have shown that the structure discovered in 2019 is much more extensive than originally thought, and the high-grade mineralization is widespread and continues underneath the glacier to the south," CEO Bradley Rourke said in the release.

Grab samples contained gold, silver, copper, cobalt, lead and zinc. Zinc had the highest concentration, at 86,600 parts per million (86,600 ppm). Lead was the second highest at 37,100 ppm. Copper went up to 4,739 ppm. Cobalt returned at 4,630 ppm. Silver was 212 ppm. Gold came back at 81.7 ppm.

"Results from the IP survey suggest that there are highly prospective drill targets along the structure, just west of our 2020 drilling. The size and grade distribution of this mineralizing system indicates that it may host a significant gold deposit, and Scottie will continue to drill the expanding zone in 2021," Rourke said.

Results from drilling are expected shortly, as are results from the AirTEM Electromagnetic survey.
