World manganese ore supply was still up by 13.3% year on year in November 2017, even as it fell 17.8% compared with the prior month, according to the latest data from the International Manganese Institute (IMnI).

Global manganese ore supply fell to 1.62 million tonnes in November last year, down from a record-high of 2 million tonnes hit in October.Supply for the first eleven months of 2017 rose by 25.1% compared with the same period in 2016.The manganese ore market was in a deficit of 39,000 tonnes in November last year, as demand reached 1.66 million...
