World manganese ore production up 4% m-o-m in July: IMnI

World manganese ore output rose by around 4% in July from the prior month due to higher production across most global regions, the latest data from the International Manganese Institute (IMnI) shows.

Global ore supply climbed to about 1.93 million tonnes of manganese units in July, marking increases of 4.2% month on month and 0.4% year on year respectively, according to IMnI data
Supply from Asia and Oceania grew by 13% month on month to 554,000 tonnes in July on rising production in India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Australia.
