US PIG IRON: Growth slows but offers continue to rise

Growth in the pig iron import market in the United States slowed down in the week to Friday January 15, but suppliers are continuing to increase their offer prices.

Fastmarkets' price assessment for pig iron, import, cfr Gulf of Mexico, US was $575 per tonne on Friday, narrowing up from from $560-575 per tonne a week earlier.
