South32 declares force majeure on South African manganese shipments

Diversified miner South32 has declared force majeure on some shipments of South African manganese ore because of disruptions resulting from severe weather, Fastmarkets has heard.

The Australia-based miner's announcement followed a similar announcement by South African state transportation provider Transnet.
