SHFE STOCKS REPORT 28/08: Lead inventories plunge 15%; aluminium up 1.7%

Lead stocks in Shanghai Futures Exchange-registered warehouses fell the most in percentage terms in the week to Friday August 28, dropping by 14.9% or 4,823 tonnes to 27,580 tonnes.

The outflows mainly came from warehouses operated by Nanchu in Guangdong, with a decline of 2,766 tonnes to 25,963 tonnes.

This follows a decline of 4.5% in lead stocks the previous week.
