Domestic steel rebar prices in Poland have been broadly stable over the past week, supported by good order books at mills but with price increases expected in March on a rebound in seasonal end-user demand, source told Fastmarkets on Friday February 12.

Fastmarkets' weekly price assessment for steel reinforcing bar (rebar), domestic, exw Poland, was 2,900-2,930 zloty ($781-789) per tonne on Friday, narrowing downward by 20 zloty per tonne from 2,900-2,950 zloty per tonne seven days ago.
All Polish mills have closed their February order books and some of them were said to have been about to close March bookings as well.
"CMC Zawiercie is nearly sold out for March. And I heard that Cognor had sold half of its March-rolling rebar," one trader said.
