ISLAMABAD, Jan 1 (Reuters) - Pakistan's annual inflation rate jumped to 4.57 percent in December from 3.97 percent a year earlier, the state Bureau of Statistics said on Monday.
On a month-on-month basis, inflation decreased 0.1 percent in December over the previous month, the bureau said.
Food items such as tomatoes, onions and pulse mash were the main reasons for the decrease in month-on-month prices.
