Generation Mining reports the final results of its 2020 program.

In a news release, Generation Mining Ltd. (GENM:TSX; GENMF:OTCQB; 9GN:FSE) announced the final results of its 12-hole exploration drill program focusing on the W Horizon's downdip western extension at the Marathon palladium project in Ontario, Canada. Although the area is the subject of a feasibility study that is expected to be released this quarter, the 2020 drill results will not be incorporated into it.

The drill program was designed to test the potential for near surface, ramp accessible mineralization," the company stated. Assays for the first three holes were released in October and December.

Of the three holes reported here, M-20-548 returned 8 meters of 3.86 grams per ton (3.86 g/t) palladium, 1.36 g/t platinum, 0.43 g/t gold and 0.62% copper within 43 meters, grading 2.82 g/t palladium equivalent.

Results of this hole and previously reported hole M-20-547 confirm that a high-grade zone of palladium mineralization exists in the heart of W Horizon's main feeder zone about 250 meters downdip from Marathon, the company noted.

"Ending our 2020 exploration program with our best drill intercept of high-grade platinum group elements plus copper will make for an interesting exploration program in 2021, and with the recent financing, we now have the funds for this," President and CEO Jamie Levy said in the release.
