(IDEX Online) - The Israel Diamond Exchange (IDE), organizers of the 7th International Diamond Week in Israel (IDWI), reports that hotel rooms for participating buyers are rapidly running out. As a result those registering late for the event will not be guaranteed free hotel accommodations, the IDE said.

This year's event has attracted buyers from more than 20 countries, including the United States, the U.K., Germany, China and India. This includes many first time attendees, the IDE reported.

IDWI 2018 is showcasing the role of new technology in upgrading the diamond industry. The IDE promises to unveil a series of groundbreaking initiatives that will make an important impact on the diamond industry in Israel and worldwide.

Moreover, the event will feature a section devoted to high end diamond jewelry manufactured by Israeli diamond companies, who in addition to loose diamonds now offer top quality jewelry collections. These companies are able to take advantage of Israel's high level of expertise in jewelry making, creativity in jewelry design and the latest manufacturing technologies, as well as the availability of diamonds and gemstones.
