The war in Ukraine has proven to be a crucible for military technology.
Much of what we've seen has been old school.
It turns out trenches, minefields, and artillery are still a huge part of modern warfare.
However, we've also seen a glimpse of the future namely through the use of unmanned vehicles, which will one day come to replace troops altogether.
In just the past week, the Ukrainian military says its drones took out 205 Russian assets, including 64 heavy guns, 27 tanks, 55 trucks, 38 armored combat vehicles, and three pieces of radio equipment.
This has been a running theme of the war, as Ukrainian forces have leveraged small, simple, cheaply built drones to overwhelm larger, more formidable, expensive, and complex enemy weaponry.
In addition to taking out artillery, tanks, and trucks, Ukrainian drones have also been used to sink or decommission large ships in Russia's Black Sea fleet and neutralize fighter jets idling in airfields.
