One good measure of the quality of a strength coach is his ability to improve chin-up performance, even in women, to 12 in 12 weeks. Learn one of coach Charles R. Poliquin's method on how to improve chin-up in record time in this video. The only requirement is to be able to perform one single chin-up.Once concentric failure is reached, the trick is to work on the eccentric strength component. This will translate into more reps on the subsequent workouts. And performance will build up from workout to workout. Say, on week 1, you are able to perform only one rep. You would work on very slow eccentrics for this session. And so on until week 12 where you should be able to perform 12 reps.
