Brazilian ferrous scrap exports down 62% in January

Brazil exported 19,002 tonnes of ferrous scrap in January 2021, a 62.3% decline from 50,348 tonnes in the corresponding month of 2020, according to data published by the country's economy ministry on Thursday February 4.

Exports for the first month of the year were at their lowest level for a January in 11 years.
