PRAGUE, June 7 (Reuters) - The Czech central bank could make its first interest rate rise in the second half of this year, Vice-Governor Mojmir Hampl said on Wednesday.

"Our forecast counts with the rise of interest rates in the second half of the year... so far, I still see this as the most likely development," Hampl said at a corporate treasury conference.

The Czech National Bank (CNB) abandoned its weak crown policy on April 6 after three-and-half years of interventions during which it prevented the crown from strengthening beyond 27 to the euro.
