The Markets:

Oil jumped higher in late trade and ended almost 2% higher ahead of tomorrow's inventory data.

The U.S. dollar index fell and treasuries rose on geopolitical concerns and uncertainty about Thursday's ECB meeting, fired FBI Director James Comey's testimony on Capitol Hill, and Britain's upcoming election.

The Dow, Nasdaq, and S&P traded mostly lower on uneasiness over near-term events.

Among the big names making news in the market today were Macy's, Michaels Companies, Apple, Valeant, Amazon, RBS, and Toshiba.
